We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run this website. This page sets out what that is, why we use it, and the choices you have.
01Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how Seamore Systems (“Seamore”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website, including the contact form and the interactive product demos.
It does not cover the Seamore application used by customers. Data processed in the application is governed by the agreement between Seamore and the customer organisation.
02Information we collect
Information you send us. When you use the contact or request-access form, we collect:
- your name and work email address (required)
- company, job title and phone number
- company size, industry and the product areas you are interested in
- anything you write in the message or feature-request fields
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.
Text you enter in interactive demos. The interactive demos send the text you type to an AI service to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential or personal information into the demos.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers record standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps. We use it to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
Browser storage. The interactive demos store a small usage counter in your browser’s local storage to apply a fair-use limit. It is not used to identify you or to track you across other sites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this website.
03How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange demos and follow up on your request
- understand which product areas are relevant to you so the conversation is useful
- run the interactive demos
- keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix problems
- meet legal obligations
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
04Legal basis
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we process enquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure website. Where consent is required, we will ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
06International transfers
Our providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
07Retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then delete it or keep only what we must retain for legal reasons. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
08Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections to the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. See also our Terms of Use.
